Dementia Care Coaches work directly with individuals and families facing dementia by providing emotional support, practical advice, and teaching strategies to help with decisions and to access care that’s right for each individual facing dementia.
The end result being, you will feel more knowledgeable about dementia, know more about the services available for you and your loved one and feel supported and more confident as primary care-giver.

Care at Home
Help your loved ones experience a more normal day living in their own home. You will have the relief of knowing their basic needs are taken care of with dignity as we honour their choices for assistance without any frustration or anxiety.
Through recreational activities such as as walks, music, readings, playing games, exercise and crafts, your loved ones will remain active and involved while maintaining family connections.

Long Term Care Homes
We are often asked by primary care givers to continue our work with their loved-ones, once they are placed in a care home, which has proven to reduce depression, stress and anxiety; recover basic motor functioning; build confidence; and create opportunities to socialize.

Choice helped me think one step ahead
After my husband received an early diagnosis, I was surprised at how tired I got both emotionally and physically trying to take care of him. It took its toll. Cyn came out and assessed what Choice Dementia Services could do for me and they helped me to think one step ahead and to deal with my husband’s every changing moods and troubling behaviour.
